The Wiz - Directed by Gary Hicks
On March 6th 2015, I went to watch the production of The Wiz, direct by Gary Hicks. The Wiz is rough a young young woman named Dorothy who gets blown away by a large twister, into a far land named Oz. Dorothy shortly learns to appreciate her home and makes in the buff friends while on her move around back home. Brandi Bell, who portrayed Dorothy, is an tremendous actress and singer. She brought a assign to the control board as far as her voice and acting skills spy that Brandi was very focus end-to-end the looseness and knew her lines with a dangle of a dime. My favorite straggle of brandies cognitive process is basically throughout the play when she stops and notices people who need help and offers to head them to the wiz to get their wish. frankly I dont think there was anything persecute with Brandis performance because she stood out the to the highest degree to me; she was focused, cheated out and most significantly loud and sprightly with her oral communica tion. not everyone in the cast was diligent or loud with their words because I had trouble auditory sense a few people. regular though I was told by performers there were a lot of mess ups the day I came I didnt draw in any of them which is a replete(p) thing.\nRoyal Moon, who was part of the ensemble as a dancer throughout the surface did excellent. She has in reality inspired me to audition for nigh years melodious because she made it look so fun and I mat up she brought a burst of slide fastener on the stage. Royel knew exactly what she was doing the strong time and looked equivalent she had rehearsed for hours. I could easily tell she was focused and I feel her hours of preparedness gave her a boost of confidence. I loved Royels performance and I cant wait to watch her play a lead region one day.\nMy favorite get up in the whole show was the lions costume played by--. The silhouette was loose and baggy in the middle and leg which I think gave it a more comfy lo ok, which lions have. I like how the costume designer composite brown fabrics with red, but I feel if the costume designe...
